The opening ceremony of CeramEx China 2007 occurred at the Chinese Export Commodities Fair Pazhou Complex yesterday.
Organized by China Foreign Trade Center(Group) and China Ceramic Industrial Association, CeramEx China 2007 will last till March 21st; during which time, it will provide a professional platform for manufacturers, associations, buyers and visitors of the industry to communicate, conduct transactions, and promote mutual cooperation.
Amongst the cheerful atmosphere, Ma Guoqin, Deputy General Manager of China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Corp., gave a welcoming speech on behalf of China Foreign Trade Center(Group) as a co-organizer of the exhibition.
He expressed his appreciation for the exhibitors and visitors’ presence and then went on to give a short introduction to the exhibition. He became very excited talking of a more spacious venue next year with an increased number of exhibitors. “The many uniquely decorated booths and various characteristics of the exhibits this year make it different from its predecessors in past years, representing the highest level of China’s ceramic industry.” Ma claimed. Of all the booths, he specially mentioned those of Hong Kong for their distinctive local features.
In Mr. Ma’s speech, he ensured the exhibitors and visitors the value of their trip by emphasizing the additonal high-level seminars and symposiums that will be provided during the period of the exhibition.
After Ma's welcoming speech, Mr. Yang Zipeng, Director of China Ceramic Industrial Association delivered a speech on the opening of the show. He said the CeramEx China is a precious opportunity for ceramic companies to unite, face and solve the problems jointly, thus driving the ceramic industry as a whole.
Finally,Administration Secretary of Chaozhou, another co-host of CeramEx, Luo Wenzhi gave a speech introducing to the audience the long and glorious ceramic manufacturing history in Chaozhou, one of the three biggest “Ceramic Capitals” in China. Chaozhou’s ceramic industry is developing rapidly, gradually becoming China’s biggest ceramic manufacturing base with a variety of products and comprehensive manufacturing lines. Finally, concluded on behalf of the exhibiting team of Chaozhou that they would present to all visitors their best ceramic skills to make Chaozhou ceramics better understood by the outside world and that the Chaozhou ceramic industry would do its utmost to contribute to the prosperity of China’s ceramic market.
