1: What products are we able to source from China?

A: Dasen currently sources 1,000 different items and has experience with a wide variety of consumer and business-to-business products. Our process for researching, developing and coordinating new production is a key asset of our OEM program. Whether you are making a traditional commodity or a unique, high ticket product Dasen is your turn key solution for offshore manufacturing of any kind.

2: How much could I save by importing from China?

A: This will depend on the items that you are sourcing. Generally products that require a good deal of manual labor will realize the most cost savings. Orders of one container or more usually represent significant savings over purchasing your components or product from wholesalers in the States. Our ability to improve your overall supply chain is a secondary cost reduction benefit.

3: Will you try to sell the same product to my competition?

A: Absolutely not. We enter into exclusive production arrangements with our customers and will not sell the items we procure for you to anyone else.

4: Why should I work through an “Agent” like Dasen instead of working directly with a factory in China?

A: With Dasen's full service model you benefit from a seamless, turn key process - from sampling to final delivery at your door. Dasen gives you the best possible price without the hassle of traveling overseas and the risks of unpleasant surprises.

China is a huge source. Finding “a” factory is much different from finding “the best” factory for your needs. With Dasen you obtain a whole team of skilled and dedicated professionals who understand all the nuances of international trade, shipping consolidation, quality control and production that will represent your specific needs as they identify the best possible partners for your program.

The services and scale of Dasen operation afford us leverage and experience you may not have, but every business model is different. 5: What makes Dasen more competitive than other brokers?

A: Dasen,our native employees are responsible not only for negotiating the best possible pricing for your products, they also keep track of your products through all development and manufacturing stages. Unlike other OEM providers, Dasen does not use any middlemen to source product. By partnering with Dasen, you will get factory direct pricing without having to incur the costs and risks of setting up your own international office.

6: How do we know that our product will be manufactured according to our quality specifications?

A: Dasen will establish production standards with the selected factory based on our customer’s expectations and the standards of our customer’s business partners. These polices will be monitored during the length of the program. Test Rite is responsible for shipping merchandise that meets established and agreed upon specifications.

Prior to placing an order we will send you a sample from the factory. You can then test the quality yourself and ensure the product is made to your complete satisfaction. Once you approve the sample, we will guarantee the quality for your shipment. In the event there are factory defects we will reimburse the cost to you.

7: How long does it take to get a quote once you have our specifications and samples?

A: This will depend on the complexity of your product but usually it takes two to three weeks.

8: What payment terms are available when ordering through Dasen?

A: On an initial order we will typically require a deposit or a Letter of Credit from your financial institution. This is a flexible requirement we will address based on your specific circumstances.
